Students of Class 23KT111 Participate in a Practical Learning Visit at PVcomBank – Dong Nai Branch

On the mornings of October 10 and 12, 2024, students from class 23KT111, Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Lac Hong University, had a valuable practical learning experience at the Vietnam Public Joint Stock Commercial Bank (PVcomBank) – Dong Nai Branch.

The visit aimed to provide students with practical insights into the operations of a commercial bank, from customer service and transaction processing to internal financial management and credit risk assessment. It was an opportunity for students to reinforce their theoretical knowledge and acquire essential professional skills needed for their future careers.

In addition to an introduction to the bank’s organizational structure and range of products and services, the students toured key functional departments, including the Customer Service Department, Accounting Department, and Credit Department. They observed firsthand how the bank operates efficiently, handles transactions swiftly and accurately, and manages credit assessments and customer portfolios.

The highlight of the visit was an engaging exchange session with the management board and key staff at PVcomBank – Dong Nai Branch. The students received valuable advice on the specialized knowledge and soft skills required in the finance and banking sector and gained deeper insights into the bank’s corporate culture and career opportunities at PVcomBank.
