22KT112 Students Visit LIXIL Vietnam: A Valuable Opportunity for Practical Exposure and Career Orientation

On October 8, 2024, the students of class 22KT112, from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting at Lac Hong University, had the opportunity to visit LIXIL Global Manufacturing Vietnam Co., Ltd. This visit was part of a series of practical business tours organized by the faculty, aimed at equipping students with useful knowledge and real-world experiences during their studies.

LIXIL Vietnam, a subsidiary of Japan’s LIXIL Group, specializes in the production of window frames, doors, and aluminum exterior products used in residential architecture. With advanced production processes, high automation, and a strict quality management system, the company provided students with an insightful view of the manufacturing and management industry.

During the visit, students were not only introduced to the modern production lines but also participated in in-depth discussions with company representatives. Topics shared included: quality management processes and the application of advanced technologies in production, corporate culture at LIXIL, and career opportunities.

The students had the chance to directly engage with LIXIL experts on production processes, management methods, and industry challenges. Additionally, company representatives shared detailed information on career development paths at LIXIL, from technical and managerial positions to opportunities for participating in professional development and skill enhancement programs.

Through this visit, students not only expanded their industry knowledge but also had the opportunity to listen and learn from experienced professionals, helping them to better orient themselves in their future careers. Moreover, the visit served as a bridge between theory and practice, enabling students to gain a clearer understanding of how to apply what they are learning in school to real-world situations after graduation.
