2024–2025 Academic Year Closing Ceremony: A Look Back at a Year of Effort and Unity for the Faculty of Information Technology
On September 30, 2025, in Hall A301 at Campus 1 of Lac Hong University, the Faculty of Information Technology (IT) held its 2024–2025 Academic Year Closing Ceremony in a solemn and warm atmosphere. The event was an occasion for faculty members and students to look back on the path they have traveled, recognize outstanding efforts and achievements, and affirm the Faculty's distinctive spirit of learning and creativity.
After an academic year filled with numerous projects, competitions, and professional activities, the ceremony marked a meaningful milestone where accomplishments were honored and the spirit of "learning for application – applying for self-affirmation" continued to be promoted.
Honoring Outstanding Individuals – Spreading IT Student Pride
The 2024–2025 academic year saw over 350 of the Faculty's students achieve good or excellent academic performance. Among them, three outstanding individuals were honored, representing the relentless efforts of the entire student body:
- Nguyen Thi Nhu Y – a 2nd-year student, recognized for her AI emotion recognition application project.
- Nguyen Hoang Tuan Hung – a 3rd-year student, who demonstrated a creative spirit and leadership in numerous research projects.
- Nguyen Son Phi Hoang – a 4th-year student, an inspiration for his passion for programming and spirit of continuous improvement.
The moment the certificates were presented was a testament to the perseverant journey of the IT Faculty's members and students. Sharing emotionally at the ceremony, one student said:
“When my name was called, I remembered the long nights my team and I spent perfecting our project. Today, all that effort feels truly rewarded.”

Honoring the Faculty – Those Who Pass the Torch of Knowledge
The ceremony was not only an occasion to honor students but also a tribute to the IT Faculty's members – those who silently accompany, guide, and ignite a passion for technology in every student. For the lecturers, their greatest source of pride is not high scores, but seeing their students grow and mature each day.
The resounding applause was the most sincere thank you to the entire faculty, the very foundation of the Faculty's success today.

Achievements from Student Teams – Affirming Technological Caliber
This past academic year, student teams continued to bring home numerous achievements from academic and technology competitions.
Team LHU Adley, under the guidance of Mr. Bui Xuan Canh, won multiple awards at programming and startup competitions. The members include Hoang Gia Huy, Bui Binh Minh, Vo Tuan Si, Phan Van Tran, and Pham Minh The – all outstanding students who demonstrated unity and perseverance in pursuing their passion for technology. A team representative shared:
“The most valuable thing is not just the awards, but the journey of learning together and never giving up.”
In addition, Team T&A, mentored by Ms. Phan Thi Huong, continued to demonstrate their capabilities at numerous university-level and regional competitions, with members including Nguyen Duy Do, Hoang Thanh Nhat, Hoang Minh Canh, Nguyen Trong Phuoc, and Nguyen Hoang Hung. The success of these teams is a clear testament to the Faculty's practice-oriented and innovation-driven training approach.

Closing One Chapter – Beginning a New Journey
The 2024–2025 Academic Year Closing Ceremony concluded in an atmosphere of joy and pride. It was not just an occasion to celebrate achievements, but also an affirmation of a spirit of diligent study, creativity, and unity.
Entering the new academic year, the faculty and students of the Faculty of Information Technology will continue to build on their traditions, continuously innovating in teaching and learning, striving towards the goal of becoming one of the leading and most reputable IT training institutions.
