Program "The Next Banker 2023"

On May 18, the Faculty of Finance and Banking of LHU in association with the Asia Commercial Bank (ACB) organized the program "The Next Banker 2023" for its students. This is a practical working program designed by ACB exclusively for senior students wishing to learn about the Finance - Banking field, especially the actual work of a "banker". The program creates opportunities for students to experience their work and apply their knowledge and skills into real work at ACB.

The program was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh - Vice Rector of LHU; Mr. Tran Mau Khiet Tam - Director of ACB, Dong Nai Branch; representatives of the two sides and more than 100 students from Finance and Banking major.

During the program, representatives of ACB helped students complete 5 pieces of their own power including Knowledge - Skills - Experience - Attitude - Adaptation with 5 outstanding activities:

- Learning - Training professional knowledge in the field of Finance - Banking
- Interaction - Being guided and oriented by experienced Mentors
- Application - Experiencing real work of a "banker"
- Sharing - Participating in workshops with interesting and useful topics
- Challenges - Achieving targets and rewarding yourself

The students also exchanged with representatives of ACB at the program. They received useful information and precious experience sharing that a "banker" must have.

The Next Banker is one of the meaningful and practical activities, demonstrating the commitment to the training quality as well as opening up job opportunities for students of Finance - Accounting in particular, the University in general. 

The biggest advantage after experiencing The Next Banker is that students will have the opportunity to become official employees of ACB without the probationary process.

LHU has had a close relationship with ACB for many years. At the end of 2022, LHU and ACB signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement between the two sides, opening up job opportunities for students of Finance - Accounting in particular, the University in general. ​In early 2023, ACB donated LHU a simulation lab of banking operations and equipment.
