Five teams of LHU named for Robocon finals

Five teams of LHU have been named for the final round of 2023 National Robot Contest which will be held in Nam Dinh province this May.

The qualifying round of Robocon 2023 in the southern region kicked off at the Robot Technology Center of LHU yesterday, attracting the participation of 12 teams from 3 universities in southern provinces. 

LH - J4F team consecutively won at the Southern Regional Qualifier

Of the 6 teams which were chosen for the final round, five come from LHU including LH 34, LH ZELUS, LH ODIN,  LH J4F  and LH WAC  and the other is Sunshine​ from Mien Trung Industry and Trade College.

The strongest team of the 2023 Robocon Vietnam will represent Vietnam to take part in the ABU Robocon, which is slated for August in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The 2023 Robocon Vietnam competition themed “Explore the ancient temple” is co-organised by the Vietnam Television and the Toyota Vietnam, seeing the competition among 67 teams from 19 universities and colleges nationwide. 32 best teams will be selected for the final round.

LHU triumphed at the ABU Robocon three times in 2014 in India, 2017 in Japan, and 2018 in Vietnam. It also won 9th championship at the Vietnam Robocon (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019). LHU is also the team with the most wins at the Robocon Vietnam.
