Activities to mark Vietnam Book Day April 21

On April 20, LHU's Center of Information and Resources organized the Book Fair LHU 2023 for the third time at the library, room A201, campus 1. The Fair, an annual event aims to celebrate the Vietnam Book Day April 21, honor the importance of books and reading in traditional Vietnamese culture and inspire love for reading. The Book Fair is held from April 20 to 21, 2023.

The Fair is an opportunity to share valuable and good books with lecturers and students. It also aims to encourage and develop reading movements among lecturers and students.

On the occasion of the Book Fair, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan - Vice Rector presented some books to the Library. In addition, the leaders of the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies gifted 4 latest books in the field of Economics and Finance. PhD student Nguyen Van Nhung also presented books to the Library.

The Book Fair exhibited different genres of books including IT, technology, engineering, pharmacy, finance, literature, cultural and social affairs,... 

The event attracted the great participation of lecturers and students at all levels. In addition, visitors were so excited to take photos at the Book Fair.

At the Book Fair, main activities took place such as book exhibition, library tour, instructions how to use services of the library and especially giving rewards to readers who had the most borrowings in the 2022-2023 academic year.

Readers also received souvenirs via a lucky draw program held by the Organizers.
