On the morning of Saturday, November 2, 2024, students from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting at Lac Hong University joined a community service event at the Dong Nai Provincial Disability Care Center. This event was part of the “Spreading Love 2024” charity program, aimed at making a meaningful impact within the community.
Along with an initial budget of 6 million VND, the program received generous contributions from faculty members, class chapters, students, and benefactors, amounting to an additional 3 million VND. These funds were presented to the center’s management and the children with disabilities, providing cash donations, essential items, and school supplies. These thoughtful gifts were intended not only to support the children in difficult circumstances but also to bring joy, comfort, and encouragement to their lives.
This year, more than 100 students registered to participate, and 45 early applicants were selected to visit the center. During the program, students actively helped clean the facility, contributing to a safer and cleaner environment for the children. The students also shared warm, joyful moments by participating in team-building activities and games with the children, fostering an atmosphere of care and compassion.
The “Spreading Love” charity program is one of the many annual community service initiatives organized by the Faculty of Finance and Accounting at Lac Hong University. It highlights the spirit of unity, empathy, and social responsibility among students.
The organizing committee extends heartfelt thanks to the faculty, class chapters, students, and generous benefactors who contributed to this event. We hope that “Spreading Love” will continue to receive your support and that together we can bring warmth and kindness to those in need.
